DIWALI spreads the message of brotherhood and love ...

Diwali (or Deepavali, the "festival of lights and happiness") is an ancient Hindu festival celebrated every year in month of autumn.Diwali is the  brightest festival in India. This festival signifies the victory of light over darkness.'Deepawali' in Hindi means a lots of diyas, candles to light up the surroundings. Almost every house and street is decorated with diyas , candels ,lamps and lights on the day of Diwali. It is called the festival of lights. It gives a message of love, brotherhood(bhai-chara)and friendship. The heart of every one should be illuminated with light. 

 It is the only festival in which people involved in many activites Before Diwali , people clean and decorate their homes , making sweets , purchasing new clothes etc .On Diwali night, people dress up in new clothes or their best outfit, light up diyas (lamps and candles) inside and outside their home, all were do puja of Laxmiji – the goddess of wealth and prosperity. After puja, fireworks or cracks are follow , then a family feast including mithai (sweets), namkin and an exchange of gifts between family members and close friends.



In this 21st Century and this ongoing time almost every large families are divided , all peoples are busy in their own life . if we talk about mens , they are busy in making money and fulfill the needs of their family(consists of 4-5 members) . And after that they are relaxed from their duty . They have no time for their elders , his own parents . 
on either side females are spend their whole time after take care of home and childrens. If she is educated women , then she is also busy in their office or school etc. they gave the responsibilty of their own child to others . 
Even a small child have no time to enjoy or playing games in their childhood , their is a lot of burden on them.

In this type of life , I think the festivals only , which are helpful in bonding the blood relations . Its the time when govt. declared the holiday , which are helpful to get closer with each other between the family members . 
In the running and racing life , even peoples are not ready to attain the marriage , birthday parties etc of their own family members  , and reason behind is the environment , the money mind and the time management . 

Household beautiful rangoli is created, delivered, and the fireworks are lit up. Large Small participate in this festival. This festival is celebrated by both the collective and the individual is so specific festival, religious, cultural and social specificity places. The triumph of light over darkness, joy in the festival society, spreads the message of brotherhood and love.
